Changing your WordPress Password

1. Log in to your WP Dashboard

2. Click Profile then scroll down until you see the New Password field. Input your new password on the New Password and Repeat New Password fields, then

3. Click the Update Profile button


Customizing the content of your blog post

a. Adding a Hyperlink

1. When adding or editing your blog post, you can also add a link to your content by highlighting the words you want to be hyperlinked then clicking on the Insert/edit link button. Type in the destination URL then click the Add Link button.


b. Adding a Media file

1. When adding or editing your blog post, position the cursor where you want the media to be inserted then click the Add Media button.

2. You can either add media files by uploading the file or using the file found in your Media Library.

a. Add Media (Upload) - Click Select Files then choose the file you want to upload then after the media file is successfully uploaded, click the Insert into post button. 

b. Add Media (Media Library) - Click the Media Library menu button. Select which file in your media library you want to use. Edit the image title, select how your media file's alignment by clicking the Alignment drop-down button, select where you'd like your file to link to by clicking the Link To drop-down button, select how big/small size your media file will appear then click the Insert into post button. 


Note:

*Alignment:

1. None- the media file is on top and the text is below it.

2. Right- the media file is gonna be to the right and the text is wrapped around to the left.

3. Center- the media file is gonna be in the center and the text is wrapped on either side.

4. Left- the media file is gonna be to the left and the text is wrapped around to the right.



*Link to options:

1. Media file- will link to your media file (i.e. PDFs, flyers, handbooks, forms, calendars, etc.). Not recommended for images because anyone might download and save it.

2. Attachment Page- serves as an intermediary page where you can download and save files. Not also recommended because people will have to click twice in order to gain access to the files thus making it more confusing.

3. Custom URL- will link to another URL or content in your site.

4. None- this makes the media file non-clickable and non-downloadable.


*Size- Medium 300 x 200 is the recommended size.


Scheduling your Blog Post

When adding or editing your post, instead of publishing your post right away, you can schedule it instead to go out on a specific date and time by clicking on the Edit link beside the "Published on" text then choose the date and time you want your post to be published then click the Publish button.


Editing the contents of a Page

1. Log in to your WP dashboard

2. Click Pages then find the page you wish to edit

3. You can now edit the content of your page however you want it. You can add media files, hyperlinks, change the alignment, etc.

4, Once you're done editing the page, just click the Update button to save the changes you made to the page.


Bulk Upload Media Files

1. Log in to your WP dashboard

2. Click Media then click Add New

3. Click the Select Files button then select the files you wish to upload all at once.

4. Click Open.


Pro Shop
This is something our team will need to create for you. You'll just need to send us the following:
1. Information for each of the pro shop items
2. JPEG image of each item
3. Title and Description of each item
4. Pricing, sizing, color and other information on that nature for each item

Adding a New Event

1. Log in to your WP dashboard

2. Click Events then click Add New

3. Type in the Event title and fill in the required information for the Event details. You can also add a description to the event.

4. Click the Publish button.


Approving a Comment in your Post (Recommended for comments that are relevant to your post)
1. Log in to your WP dashboard
2. Click Comments then hover your mouse over the comment then click Approve below the comment you wish to add to your post

Trashing a Comment in your Post (Recommended for comments that are not spam and yet it's not also relevant to your post)

1. Log in to your WP dashboard

2. Click Comments then hover your mouse over the comment then click Trash below the comment you wish to add to your post


Flagging a Comment in your Post as Spam (Recommended for spam comments)

1. Log in to your WP dashboard

2. Click Comments then hover your mouse over the comment then click Spam below the comment you wish to add to your post
